Located along Panama’s extraordinary Caribbean coastline, the Belen River Tarpon Lodge will provide guests with a unique, remote experience, with unique Caribbean style accommodations and an unforgettable Panama sport fishing adventure.
The Caribbean style lodge, built on stilts to ensure minimal impact on the environment, possesses first world touches and is positioned less than 100 feet from the Caribbean with an idyllic beach fronting the property.
The lounge area, with large lounge chairs, hammocks and a fully stocked bar, is the perfect place to enjoy a drink, share fishing stories and enjoy uninterrupted views of the magical Caribbean Sea. Guests can enjoy Happy Hour watching spectacular sunsets after a memorable day of fishing.
Meals are served in our common dining area adjacent to the lounge. The Lodge can accommodation up to 12 guests in double share accommodations. Guests stay in one of our six cabins flanking the common area. Each cabin is equipped with a queen bed and faces the Caribbean Sea. There are two large bathroom and shower facilities on either side of the common area.
The lodge is powered by a solar panel system just behind the lodge which provided uninterrupted power. A large gas generator serves as a back-up. Large water reserves have been constructed to provide a continuous and ample supply of clean water.
The Lodge also features a helipad behind the lodge for emergency helicopter transport.
