After a tasty breakfast at the Lodge, Scutt and Charlie (owners of the Lodge) along with Stan (Lodge manager and expert fisherman) spent the morning fishing about 18 kms offshore in front of the Lodge. They made their way to a water depth of about 1200 feet when the action started. This time of the year the Caribbean Sea is calm and the Big Game are hungry. And it didn’t take long to reel in a Blue Marlin (approximately 130lbs) and an Atlantic Sailfish (approximately 70lbs). Both billfish put up a good fight and were released immediately. Not bad for a quick morning fishing trip.

Can’t wait to fish with you guys. See you in October.
