As Panama’s first Full-Service Sports Fishing Lodge on the Caribbean coast, the Belen River Tarpon Lodge is quickly gaining a reputation as one of Panama’s most exciting sports fishing locations. The Lodge is owned by three business partners – Mr Scutt Herrington (president and owner of Belen River Tarpon Lodge), Mr. Roberto Arauz and Mr. Carlos “Charlie” Alvarez.
After several years touring and fishing the Caribbean coastline, they quickly identified Belen as the ideal location to add a Caribbean option to Panama’s sport fishing industry. Located near the mouth of the Rio Belen, guests of the Belen River Tarpon Lodge have immediate access to spectacular river fishing or action-packed offshore fishing or both. And if you’re into spear-fishing, we’ve got plenty of incredible locations to catch lobster and crab.
